THE ADVENTURES OF BEAUREGARD THIBODEAUX
This project originated as a spec feature screenplay —BEAUREGARD THIBODEAUX AND THE CURSE OF THE ROUGAROU. The story of a headstrong young boy who embarks on a quest through the Louisiana swamplands in search of a storybook cure for his dying grandmother; but when he, his kid sister, and two friends ignore the warnings in grandma’s tall tales, they awaken a mythical beast with an appetite for disobedient children.
But as of 2020 it is being development as a live-action 1hr series, to be produced by Amblin Entertainment, for HBO MAX. The series will follow the magical bayou adventures of Beau, T.Jon, Evangeline, and more, in the small town of Eden Isle, Louisiana.
