Screenplay written by: Robert Rugan, F. Paul Benz & Steve Tomlin. Based on the novel “Buddy Holly is Alive and Well on Ganymede” by Bradley Denton. To be produced by Dahlia Streets Films (producer Molly Mayeux). To star Jon Heder as Oliver Vale.

On February 3rd, 1989, television screens around the world suddenly black out, and rock icon, Buddy Holly, appears, transmitting from the barren surface of Ganymede, one of Jupiter’s moons, with a cryptic message for an average electronics salesman, Oliver Vale, sending him on a heroic journey to save the world from a apocalyptic alien plot.
