BILLION BRICK RACE is an animated feature developed at Warner Animation Group / Warner Bros. Pictures as part of the LEGO MOVIE universe. I was hired to write the film, with Lin Pictures producing and Jorge R. Gutierrez (THE BOOK OF LIFE) attached to direct. A big, fast, brick-built racing adventure, the project follows a brother and sister from Engine City who enter the biggest race in LEGO history — only to discover that winning will take more than speed. It will take teamwork, imagination, and learning how to rebuild when everything falls apart.
